Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrating his 69th birthday on September 17, the whole nation will be celebrating with him. Earlier today, PM Modi visited the Statue of Unity and the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the river Narmada in his home state of Gujarat. The Statue of Unity, billed as the tallest in the world, was inaugurated by him on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary on October 31 last year.

Addressing a gathering in Kevadiya, he also thanked and saluted lakhs of people who worked to make Sardar Sarovar project a success. “Our culture believes in development while protecting the environment.
